The embroidered place mats for my sons.

The Star pattern is for my second son, and the moon pattern is for my first son.
The pattern and its colour represent my son's temperaments.

pop-up card

This is a pop-up card made from one piece of paper.
I deliberately left the construction lines to show how I designed it.

origami geometrical solid 2

5 tetrahedron make this figure.
Complicated, but such a beautiful shape, isn't it?

origami geometrical solid

This is one of many origami figures I've made.
Based on a platonic shape, arranged to show the skelton.

basket with a handle

Simple basket with a handle.
The parts of the connection to the handle is my favorite.

I want to weave this using very thin split bamboo, mixing the Western taste and Japanese technique.

celtic pattern

The idea is creating celtic woven form basket.
This is just a trial, and this is no use practically.
But I still like this pattern and the idea of weaving celtic form.

I will try more.

shaker basket

The material is cane, so this is not really "shaker" style. But I made this using the "shaker" teqhnique.

coiling basket

This is a basket. The method is traditional African called "coiling." Very simple technique.

The materials are a combination of seagrass and twine. So this is a soft basket which doesn't get cracked, but still holds the shape...very useful basket.

matching jumpers 2

One more set of matching jumpers.

One for me. Others are for boys, 2 and 3-year-old size.

For these boys!

Waldorf animal series - a dog -

From a book "Waldorf animals" - a dog. All the animals shown on this book are so cute. They are not so characterized, and appealing their natural feature well.

This dog was made of used wool fabric that was used to be my mother's skirt.
I like the idea of reusing the materials because these fabrics are still in a good condition.

matching jumpers

Pure wool jumpers. The larger one is for my husband, smaller one is for my son with a matching hat. Left over wool turned out well to be a knitted boy with the matching jumper and hat.

wool socks

Kid's pure wool socks. can be used as over-socks or alternative room shoes. They are often used for "wet socks treatment" when children are unwell.

"Wet socks treatment" is a natural therapy for a cold or flu. Detox effect can be expected as well.

WET SOCKS TREATMENT METHOD
1. Prepare a pair of cotton socks soaked in a cold water.
2. Squeeze them so that they are not too wet.
3. Take a foot bath for ten minutes.
4. Put the wet socks and then pure wool over the cotton socks.
5. Go to bed, and sleep well.

In the morning when you wake up, take the socks off, and you will find the wet socks completely dry.
